Annual Physicals

A physical exam is used to check your overall health and make sure you don’t have any medical problems that you are unaware of.
A physical examination is a routine test your primary care provider (PCP) performs to check your overall health. A PCP may be a doctor, a nurse practitioner, or a physician assistant. The exam is also known as a wellness check. You don’t have to be sick to request an exam. The physical exam can be a good time to ask your PCP questions about your health or discuss any changes or problems that you have noticed. There are different tests that can be performed during your physical examination. Depending on your age, medical or family history, your PCP may recommend additional testing.

Sports Physicals

A pre-participation physical examination is a check-up to assess health and fitness of an athlete for sports participation.During the sports physical, the health care provider looks for injuries that could make it unsafe to participate in sports, and reviews the family's medical history, to ensure additional tests are performed if necessary.

FAA Physicals

A pilot must meet minimum safety standards in terms of physical and mental condition as determined by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
When a designated physician determines that the pilot meets the standards for a successful flight physical, the pilot is issued a medical certificate identifying that individual as meeting those specific standards.

Immunizations And FLU Vaccines

Flu vaccines cause antibodies to develop in the body about two weeks after vaccination. These antibodies provide protection against infection with the viruses that are in the vaccine.
The seasonal flu vaccine protects against the influenza viruses that research indicates will be most common during the upcoming season. Traditional flu vaccines (called “trivalent” vaccines) are made to protect against three flu viruses; an influenza A (H1N1) virus, an influenza A (H3N2) virus, and an influenza B virus.
